Los Angeles has many diverse neighborhoods, and you've chosen to invest here. Why the Social District?

Downtown LA Proper couldn't have chosen a more vibrant location than the Social District, a dynamic area that effortlessly blends urban energy with cultural richness, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors alike. This thriving neighborhood has become a creative epicenter for art, design, and entertainment, with the hotel situated just a few blocks from iconic landmarks like the Orpheum Theatre and the Bradbury Building. Its proximity to the bustling tech scene, major sports venues, and an array of world-class dining options further cements the hotel as a central hub for a diverse mix of travelers. As the Social District continues to evolve, the hotel plays a key role in enhancing the area's growing reputation as a dynamic, stylish, and immersive destination at the heart of LA.

When you're not working, what do you love to do in the Social District?

When not working, I enjoy exploring the Social District's vibrant mix of culture and food. I often find myself grabbing a Latte at Ideology Coffee, checking out the art scene in the area, or walking through the neighborhood's green spaces. There are some really cool spots for outdoor dining too, such as Pine & Crane. I also like to catch a game at Crypto.com arena or even just people-watch in the area -it has such
an energetic vibe.

Looking ahead, what is your vision for the future of The Social District in the next 5-10 years? What are your hopes and aspirations for the community?

Looking ahead, I see the Social District continuing to evolve into an even more dynamic and vibrant neighborhood, where creativity and innovation thrive alongside a strong sense of community. My hope is that it remains a place where diverse people - whether locals, artists, entrepreneurs, or visitors- can connect, collaborate, and experience the best of what LA has to offer. I envision more green spaces, unique cultural hubs, and even more world- class dining and entertainment venues that reflect the area's growing energy. At the same time, l'd love to see the community maintain its character and authenticity, balancing urban development with sustainability and local culture. Ultimately, I hope the Social District becomes a model of urban vibrancy, where people from all walks of life can live, work, and play in
harmony.

How are you a part of shaping the future ofThe Social District?

I believe we all play a role in shaping the future of the Social District by being an active part of its community. I feel that whether you're a local resident, business owner, or visitor, your presence and actions help define the district's character and growth. In supporting our local businesses, engaging in many neighborhood events, and advocating for sustainable development, there are many ways to influence how the area evolves. By staying connected and invested in what makes the Social District unique, we're all contributing to ensure it remains a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming place for everyone.

The Social District hosts a lot of events, from awards shows to sporting events to concerts. What's an event you'd want front row seats to attend and where in The Social District would you go before or after
the big event?

If I could, l'd love to attend the GRAMMY Awards next year. That event is always full of glitz and glamour. Plus, the artists and performances are top-tier as we experienced once again this year. Before the event, l'd grab a bite at Caldo Verde-you can't go wrong with Chef Suzanne Goin's contemporary Californian cuisine, the perfect blend of rustic sophistication and authenticity, infused with Mediterranean flavors and bold, hyper- seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets. Afterward, I'd check out Katsuya, located within walking distance and featuring unique rolls, exquisite sushi & sashimi, and offering a blend of traditional Japanese flavors with a modern American twist, all in a very cool setting.
